Since 2014, the South Australian Suicide Prevention Community Grants Program has been delivered to prevent suicide in South Australia by building compassionate, safe and resilient communities through skill building, education and training, and to provide funding to community groups and non-government organisations to support statewide suicide prevention projects and activities.
Preventive Health SA is the lead State government agency supporting community suicide prevention initiatives and is accountable to the Minister for Health and Wellbeing to deliver strategies and initiatives against the South Australian Suicide Prevention Plan 2023-26.
